Motorbike Helmets – To Wear Or Not To Wear
That is the question! Or should it be? There are still several states that leave that choice up to you! Riding motorcycles can be very dangerous I feel that wearing motorcycle helmets should be mandatory.
This is one thing that the government should not leave up to you to decide! There are certain safety precautions you need to take when you perform certain activities, and riding on a motorcycle at high speeds is definitely one of them! The government makes it mandatory for you to wear your seat belt when riding in an automobile.
So why should they not make it mandatory to wear a motorbike helmet when riding your bike! It is definitely more risky to ride a motorcycle without a helmet then to ride in a car without a seat belt. If you were to get into an accident on your bike at a fair speed with a motorcycle helmet on it could almost guarantee you serious head trauma if not death! I believe the government in the few states that still leave this option up to you should make it mandatory for motorcycle riders to wear their helmet as soon as possible!
Lives our being lost because of ignorant riders thinking that it will never happen to them! It is essential that wearing a helmet while riding a motorcycle law be passed immediately! To those of you out there that live in one of this states that still leaves it up to PLEASE just put a lid on! It will save your LIFE!
