motorbike repairs

Where can I take a ‘part-time’ motorcylce mechanics course?
I live in Bristol (the South West of England) and I’d really love to take a course that will allow me to maintain and repair my own motorcycle. I don’t want a career in it so a full time 3 yr thing probably won’t be the best idea – just something I can do in my free time.
Local colleges don’t seem to offer any mechanical training for motorbikes and I’ve tried to google some classes but no such luck…
Any suggestions??
I,m sorry to say that the only college I know that does a 1 year full time course in motorcycle repair and maintenence is the James Watt College in Greenock. West of Scotland.
Its possible that if you contact them, they might be able to put you in the right direction for your own area.
Thats the best I can do – good luck.
