motorbike alarm : Meta systems 357t v2 or datatool?
i have been offered a Meta 357t v2 Thatcham/cat1 alarm to be fitted in conjunction with the standard Ducati cat2 imobiliser already included with my monster s2r, does anybody know if these are any good? apparently ‘Ride’ magazine listed them higher than datatools in a survey from the readers but obviously Datatool is a well marketed make,,,,,,,, people who have tried/tested either products are very welcome to comment!

hi kid a bit of advice i am a retired motorcycle engineer and can tell you on monday mornings we usually had a call to collect someones bike when immobiliser had failed,dont see the point as most bikes are stolen with a van my advice would be stay with your std security and spend your money on a bloody good chain and lock with anchor point , a good loud audible alarm works well
